CHICKEN ON ESPLANADE
We were hanging out on Esplanade one day, and we saw this wild chicken running around. Apparently there used to be a lady in the neighborhood who bred them, and then she just let them all loose when she moved out of her house. I've heard of other wild chicken spottings in nearby neighborhoods.
BRASS BED AT CIRCLE BAR Brass Bed is a great alternative band from Lafayette. We meant to shoot one of the longer videos on them, but we got lazy that night and promised we would do it in the future. They play here pretty regularly, so you shouldn't have to wait too long to see them.
KREWE DE VIEUX 2008 We hung out in front of the R Bar to watch this year's Krewe De Vieux. It was great to watch a parade and have instant access to a bathroom and a fresh beer. It got a little crowded inside, as expected, but it was never too bad. Some of our friends met up with us after watching the parade go past Molly's, so they actually got to see everything twice.
